The Discovery Centre will be closing at 1:00pm on Tuesday 19th November for planned cleaning and maintenance. The centre will reopen at 9:30am on Wednesday 20th November | Woodland walk will also be closed from 19th November until 24th November for scheduled maintenance work | Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances the Safari Roadtrain is currently out of action – hopefully this is a temporary issue and we’ll keep everyone posted when it is up and running!

The Mighty Zulu Nation

The ever-popular Mighty Zulu Nation with their show ‘Magic Folklore Tales from Africa, will return to Africa Alive! this summer performing every weekend from Saturday 27th July to Sunday 1st September 2019.

This new-look, two-part presentation will provide visitors with a fascinating insight into some of the tribes of Africa, including the Zulu, Pedi, Tswana, and Ndebele people. The cast of the Mighty Zulu Nation will showcase stories, traditional dances and songs from these tribes in the opening presentation.

A fun, interactive workshop will follow where visitors will get the opportunity to participate in songs and dances.

The cast of Mighty Zulu Nation look forward to meeting all our visitors to Africa Alive! and to sharing this fun celebration of Africa.
