All sessions encourage your group to explore, observe and discover animals in a hands-on setting. Adults are also encouraged to attend and take part!
The Discovery Sessions are designed to tie in with the Early Years / Foundation Stage learning goals and encourage active learning.

A fun sing-a-long session with a chance to explore, observe and discover animals with an introduction to animal vocabulary and animal handling.
Just for Fun!
An introduction to the wonderful world of animals! This hands on session includes the chance to meet a variety of animals including minibeasts and reptiles.
Exploring the marvellous world of minibeasts through colours, counting and sounds! With the chance to get hands-on with some very special minibeast friends.
Topic of your Choice
If you would like a topic to fit in with schemes of work or special projects, please feel free to contact the education team who can tailor any session to suit your needs. (Examples
of previous sessions include: ‘Shapes & Colours’ and ‘Jungle Animals’.)
We encourage photographs to be taken as they make a wonderful addition to a child’s learning journey. Please ensure all relevant consent has been obtained.
- Sessions are charged at £20 and include an education pack with worksheets.
- Sessions last approx 30 minutes and can seat up to 30 people.
