2017 Early Years / Foundations Stage Programme
All sessions encourage your group to explore, observe and discover animals in a hands-on setting. Adults are also encouraged to attend and take part!
The Discovery Sessions are designed to tie in with the Early Years / Foundation Stage learning goals and encourage active learning.
Just for Fun!
An introduction to the wonderful world of animals! This hands-on session includes the chance to meet a variety of animals including minibeasts and reptiles.
Old MacDonald had a Zoo!
A fun sing-a-long session with a chance to explore, observe and discover animals with an introduction to animal vocabulary and animal handling.
Topic of your Choice
If you would like a topic to fit in with schemes of work or special projects, please feel free to contact the education team who can tailor any session to suit your needs.
(Examples of previous sessions include: ‘Minibeasts’ and ‘Jungle animals’.)
We encourage photographs to be taken as they make a wonderful addition to a child’s learning journey. Please ensure all relevant consent has been obtained.
- Sessions last approximately 45 mins and can seat up to 30 people
- Sessions are charged at £20 and include an activity pack
