One of East Anglia’s top tourist attractions is looking to recruit a catering manager to lead all aspects of the park’s catering facilities.
The successful applicant will lead the team to enhance our visitor’s day out by ensuring the efficient and professional operation of the park’s catering facilities meets the highest possible standards of presentation, quality and service. Working to agreed budgets, you will find ways to maximise sales growth and profit potential which in turn will aid the charity to further its aims in wildlife conservation.
Recognising guests’ needs and providing appropriate solutions, you will look to grow the menu whilst maintaining the ethos of the charity. With a strong, proven leadership style you will develop and motivate the team to be the very best whilst achieving sales targets and improving upon budgeted cost expectations.
Having a positive “can do” attitude, solution-focused approach and the ability to make objective decisions under pressure will make you a success in this role.
This is a full time, front line role and, as such, is fully active in the daily functions of the catering department, and involves working weekends, Bank Holidays and occasional evenings.
Salary: Circa £24k plus benefits
