To continue to provide what our visitors have come to expect, we are looking for two proactive and enthusiastic individuals to join our management team.

The main purpose of each role is to lead the daily operation of the Park Admissions and Gift Shop, the development of profit through sales growth and cost control and to further improve the quality of standards and service.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate success in a similar position. Applicants will expect to work most weekends and bank holidays as this is essential to this role.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED

AFRICA ALIVE! are inviting applications for Volunteers to join the Discovery Centre team.

Are you interested in the natural world and conservation? Do you enjoy meeting new people?
If you have some spare time and would like the chance to volunteer within the Education Department at Africa Alive!, we would like to hear from you.

We are looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to join the Discovery Centre team. Ideally candidates will have a good understanding of the natural world and be good communicators. The roles include staffing the Discovery Centre, assisting with activities such as craft making and face painting and helping the team plan and carry out special events. The hours are flexible between 10 am and 4.30 and we would ask for regular commitment. The minimum age for application is 16 years.

Volunteering within the Education Department will give you the chance to learn new skills and get great experience working in a team. It’s also a great opportunity to meet people and enjoy the outdoors!
