We have a very exciting opportunity for an Apprentice to join our IT Department at entry level and to acquire specialist on the job training. This vacancy is open to those aged 16-64 due to government funding restrictions.
Working to a high standard under the direction of the IT Manager, we are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to assist with the day to day functions and deadlines of a busy department which currently provides support and training to approximately 200 users in 4 different locations. Based at Banham Zoo, this exciting new role will encompass all aspects of IT including the planning, development and maintenance of IT systems and networks and whilst no prior knowledge is necessary, as full training will be given, a real interest in IT is essential. A full, clean driving licence will be required. Due to the nature of our business, some weekend and Bank Holiday working will be necessary.
The successful candidate will also be expected to achieve a Comptia A+ qualification during the course of their apprenticeship which is anticipated to last between 12 and 23 months, and this will be facilitated via day release.
Hours: 40 hours a week
Salary £5.65 per hour for the first year, rising to National Minimum Wage depending on age

Guest Information Assistant
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic person to work in our Guest Information department of our award-winning park.
This position is a front line role looking after guests in person in addition to telephone, e-mail and written enquiries, season tickets, group and birthday party bookings.
The successful candidate will ideally have a good working knowledge of Excel and Outlook and previous experience of working in a similar environment. We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail, are accurate and well organised, and have a genuine desire to give excellent customer service.
This is a permanent, zero hours contract and due to the nature of the business, the successful applicant will be required to work weekdays, plus weekends and Bank Holidays.
